About Me
Hi I'm Georgia! Since completing my Psychology degree and Masters in child development I have been working in educational and mental health settings supporting children with additional needs. In these roles I have been able to discover how best to facilitate the learning of all ages and abilities. I like to use games, interactive activities and visual aids in my tutoring in order to keep children engaged with the subject and excited about attending the session. I believe in cultivating curiosity and growth mindset in my work and always encourage my pupils to ask questions and challenge themselves. I have recently completed a Masters in Children's Book illustration and like to incorporate art and creativity into my lessons as much as possible.
My Experience
5 years experience as an LSA in mainstream and specialist school settings, 3 years experience as a SEN tutor. Voluntary placements in mental health settings and hospital school.
