About Me
Hello! We’re a friendly family based in SW London, with a 4 year old who attends nursery full time and a 2 month old.
We’re looking for someone part time who is kind, reliable and safe to come help out our family — someone who enjoys working with young children and can help keep things running smoothly at home.
My Requirements
We’re looking for afternoon help to support with after-school pick-up, meal prep, and care for the new born and the eldest. There's some flexibility on hours through to September (can do mornings), after which we would like after school hours (2-7 pm) during term time and full days on school holidays. We can be flexible in discussing a total number of hours over a year covering school holidays to achieve a minimum number of hours.
We would like help with the following:
School/nursery pick-up for our 4 year old
Helping with our newborn (alongside mum/dad) and establishing a sound sleep routine
Meal preparation for the children and some meal prep/cooking for adults
Supporting with playtime, bath time, and tidying up after the day
Ideally engaging the children in activities and where possible, taking them to classes

Helen helped us for 10 weeks from when my daughter was a week old to 12 weeks. My husband and I could not have managed the initial phase without her. My surgery recovery was challenging as was my milk supply. Helen looked after our daughter with thought and care, and was super reassuring in how she handled the baby. She is experienced and has lots of tips and information, and helped us establish a feeding routine. She would always advise based on her experience but leave it to the mother's judgment, which I appreciated. We had a great experience and was very thankful for her presence in those early days.
