About Me

I am a Primary School Teacher with 15 years experience living in the Hillside/Birkdale area running Mad_Hatters_Childcare. I am a mummy of two beautiful daughters who are 1 and 4 years old. My setting provides a recently fully refurbished house with a designated playroom for the children. The open plan kitchen/diner leads out to a large garden with newly built climbing frame, trampoline and mud kitchen for outdoor play. I follow the EYFS and encourage learning through play. I am fully paediatric First Aid Trained.

My Experience

I have been teaching for 15 years and worked across two schools in Southport and Sheffield. I have taught in both KS1 and KS2, planning and delivering enjoyable and enriching lessons, ensuring I cater for all needs within the classroom. My mum was a childminder throughout my whole childhood and I was a trained assistant for her during my teaching degree.
