About Me

Hello, my name is Lou and I own Little Cubs Childminding.
I am a Mum, partner and a Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2015. I live in Larkfield with my partner (Tom) and our 1 year old daughter and cat Millie.

I offer spaces for children from 3 months and after school care from Leybourne Chase Primary School(Possibly other schools in the area).
I will provide a safe, clean, home from home environment for every child. As well as different activities within the setting we will also be visiting parks, Leeds Castle, Kent life, library's, playgroups and more.

My Experience

I have worked in childcare for 10 years now, I started off doing work experience with a childminder who asked me to become an apprentice for her. I carried out my level 2 qualification in childcare. In 2015 I completed my childminders course. This enabled me to become a childminder not just an assistant.
In 2019, I moved companies due to my previous one closing and co-minded with someone new. I also completed my level 3 childminding course when joining there. In January 2022 I went on maternity leave as I was getting my own little lovely. I then decided to go independent from my own home for when I return back to work.

I have experience with children from birth to teenagers. I have my own daughter and 3 nieces so have spent most my life around children and working with them.
