My name is Heledd, and I am a fluent Welsh speaker with a strong passion for supporting families with newborns and infants. I am 22 years old and currently work in the Under 2s room at a day nursery, where I have gained extensive experience caring for babies during their most important early months. I specialise in newborn and infant care (0–12 months) and pride myself on being kind, caring, organised, and easy to work with.
I hold a full, clean UK driving licence and an up-to-date DBS certificate, and I am trained in paediatric first aid. I am currently studying for a degree in psychology, focusing on child development and attachment, and I have completed additional training in safeguarding, child safety, and courses specifically designed for caring for younger babies.

My Experience
I am currently working in the Under 2s room at a day nursery, where I care for babies from as young as a few weeks old up to two years. Alongside this, I also have nanny experience caring for newborns to around 3 months old, supporting families during those very early weeks at home.
In my nanny and nursery roles, I have developed expertise in feeding support (both bottle and supporting breastfeeding routines), babywearing and carrying safely, establishing calm sleep environments, and recognising and responding to the unique needs of newborns. I am confident caring for very young babies, supporting their development and routines while providing reassurance and practical help for parents during this precious but sometimes challenging time.
I am passionate about creating a calm, nurturing environment and specialise in the care of children aged 0–12 months, where I feel I can make the biggest difference.
My Qualifications
I hold a current DBS certificate and am fully trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and child safety. I have also completed additional childcare training specifically focused on newborn and infant care. I am currently studying for a degree in Psychology, which includes modules on child development and attachment, further enhancing my understanding of young children’s needs. I am a fluent Welsh and English speaker, have a full, clean UK driving licence with my own car.

Heledd has been looking after our son for almost a year now for two weekends a month, she is always on time and provides the highest level of care but best of all our son loves her and gets excited for her weekends. Couldn’t recommend her high enough.
