About Me
We are a busy household in Walton-on-Thames, both parents balancing family and work, with two children (a boy of 7 and a girl of 5). We're a close-knit family who value kindness, curiosity and a good sense of humour, and we're looking for someone who'll become a familiar, trusted presence for the children rather than just cover the after-school slot.
My Requirements
We are looking for an after school nanny, around 12 hours per week to cover 3 days of after-school pick-ups plus some light housework.
We're hoping for the role to start in November 2026 and run until at least the end of July 2027, but we're open to longer if that's of interest.
We have two children - a sociable, curious pair aged 7 and 5 who love playing outside, exploring new ideas and making friends. We'd love someone who can feed that curiosity: someone playful and engaged who'll challenge them, teach them and help them explore the world, not just supervise.
The role:
Light housework (laundry, food shopping, general tidying) followed by school pick-up at 3.25pm and a 5-minute walk home. Afternoons include taking the children to local activities - swimming (1 minute from the house) and piano (at home) - plus packing school bags for the next day and leaving the play areas tidy at the end of the day.
Hours:
2.15 - 6.15pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Tuesday can be swapped for Wednesday if that works better for you).
