About Me

I am a Ofsted registered childminder with five years Primary teaching experience, I will be childminding alongside looking after my two children. I hold Paediatric first aid, Safeguarding training, and food hygiene and have experience working with a variety of children.

With Ellie’s Explorers, I aim to provide a home from home environment offering the children the ability to imagine, explore, create, experiment, solve and thrive. Each day is very different as I follow the children's curiosity but activities that I aim to incorporate include arts and crafts, baking, messy play, role play, water play, local trips and plenty of time in our roofed outdoor playroom, you can follow our adventure on socials media.

My Experience

PGCE in Education with a specialism in Art.
5 Years experience as a Primary school teacher.
Ofsted registered Childminder since November 2022.
Partaking in ongoing CPD.

My Qualifications

PGCE Education with Art, Pacey qualification in Homebased Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food and Hygiene qualification.
DBS and fully insured.

My Availability

1 space from April 2026 and another September 2026, happy to discuss and add to waitlist. Term time only with limited availability during the summer holidays.
