I'm Elora, 30yo living in Fairwater, Cardiff.
Since September 2022, I look after children on a weekly basis in parallel with my freelance graphic design work.
I'm creative and enjoy any kind of art and crafts as well as cooking, going for walks, etc.
My Experience
I worked as an Aupair in London back in 2014 (1 year, Italian/French family) with kids aged 3mo, 2.5yo and 5yo. I babysat them during the week (mornings) and all weekend+adhoc evening/overnight babysitting. I also babysat the children on holiday abroad (even on a boat!)
I then moved to Cardiff and babysat children aged 6mo to 10yo on a regular basis.
Since September 2022, I look after children on a weekly basis in parallel with my freelance graphic design work.
Also, I can help with housekeeping, ironing, meal prep, etc.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
Week rates:
£14/hour (7am to 6pm)
£16/hour (6pm to 7am)
Weekend rates:
£16/hour (Saturday/Sunday 7am to 6pm)
£18/hour (Sunday 6pm to Monday 7am)
Rates are for 1-2 children
Extra child: +£5/hour
Bank holiday: +£2/hour
Rates are on a self employed basis and includes transport.

Elora looked after our 1 year old at short notice when he was ill and couldn't go to nursery and was excellent from start to finish. Great communication and came a few minutes early on the first day to introduce herself before we had to work
She put him at ease and had him laughing within no time, prepared food and took him out for a walk. She even did some cleaning whilst he was napping. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elora to anyone, and we will be asking her to look after our son again!

We were lucky enough to find Elora a year ago and she has been a tremendous help to us ever since. The way she bonded with our 2 children (2yo girl and 11 month old boy at the time) was beautiful to see.
Elora has a very warm and calm nature and she loves to keep the children busy, filling their days with so much fun, it’s no wonder they don’t want her to leave! She’s been so much more than a Nanny/babysitter and we would recommend her wholeheartedly!

Elora is a very calm and caring childminder. She looked after our 2 children aged 3.5 and 1.5 for 1 afternoon for 5 weeks and other random times. She is very reliable and also very amenable when times or dates changed. She dealt with tears on my leaving very well. The children always enjoyed their time with her and were happy that she was looking after them. She took them out to the park and feed them and they had a lot of fun together. Have recommend her to others. And will be asking her again in future.

Elora came to help with my two year old during a stressful time in our family. She was brilliant. She has such a calming and encouraging presence and a wonderful, innate understanding of slow-to-warm young children (and overwhelmed parents!). We've since moved, but still think of our lovely Elora often!
