Hi I'm Sana and I'm 23 years old! I have studied Medicine at Newcastle University for three years and will now be studying a year of Psychology at the University of Leeds. I am looking for a part time job in childcare this year alongside my studies. I am a vibrant, empathetic and responsible individual who is committed to providing an exceptional standard of care. I am kind and compassionate, and love working with children. I currently live in Leeds. My hobbies including travelling, playing badminton, and keeping fit in the gym.
My Experience
I have nannied and babysat for various families before, looking after children ranging from aged 8 months-11 years old.
During Summer 2023 I worked in America for 2 months as a summer camp counsellor. I was responsible for young girls aged 7-8 throughout their 7 weeks at summer camp.
From 2022-2023 I worked for 1 year as a 1-1 SEN (Special Educational Needs) teaching assistant at a primary school in Newcastle. I worked within a playgroup setting, mainstream classrooms, and a specialist SEN unit. I supported children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Hydrocephalus, developmental delay and behavioural issues. I provided 1-1 care for children aged between 3 and 11 years old.
In 2019 I worked for one year as a play assistant at a breakfast and after school club in a local primary school. Alongside this, in 2019 I also child minded for twin 9 year old girls. I took on roles such as cooking dinners, assisting with homework and helping with households tasks.
I have previously also volunteered at summer camps for children with both physical and learning disabilities. I have worked at a nursing home for 6 months where I cared for patients with dementia. In this role I assisted these residents with feeding, mobility and offered both physical and emotional support.
