About Me
Hi! I’m a friendly, reliable nanny based in Walthamstow with over 6 years of experience working with children aged 3–10, including extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream school setting. Alongside this, I’ve also worked with neurotypical children, so I’m confident adapting to different needs, personalities, and routines.
I hold a First Class BSc degree in Forensic Psychology.
Alongside childcare, I run my own ceramics business as a sole trader, where I handmake ceramics and chess sets from my studio in Walthamstow and trade at Broadway Market on weekends. I’m currently looking for some additional work to support this creative career.
Availability:
Monday–Friday mornings (ideal for school drop-offs, finishing by 10am ish)
OR 1–2 full days per week
Also available for ad hoc babysitting

I grew up in Hackney and now live in Walthamstow, so I know London very well and am confident navigating school runs and activities.
In my free time, I enjoy swimming, cooking, and film. I love bringing creativity into childcare- whether that’s arts and crafts, imaginative play, or helping children explore new hobbies.
Additional note: I am dyslexic. This doesn’t affect my ability to support children with reading comprehension or listening to them read, but I do find reading aloud challenging. I’m always happy to work around this in a way that best supports your child. I'm fine with writing :)

My Experience
I have 8+ years experience baby sitting neurotypical children aged 3-10. I have 3 years experience working with children with autism in an early years, mainstream and specialised setting. I have a good understanding of non-verbal ASD and I’m able to communicate with alternative methods such as the AAC device and some makaton. I'm able to create a fun, happy and safe environment that aligns with the child's sensory and emotional needs. I am still in contact with one of the families of a child I supported in school 6+ years ago! Building a great bond with the children is incredibly important to me and I think it massively impacts their progression and happiness. I also have a good understanding of children with high levels of anxiety and need for structure, routine and predictability. I have also potty trained. I finished my last nanny role in 2024 after completing my degree. I was with the family for two years and was always reliable- I never missed a day or let them down!
