About Me
I am a Politics Undergraduate from Bournemouth University. I typically enjoy reading, watching shows/movies/documentaries and learning new things as well as trying out new hobbies. I love exploring the world of politics, religion, sociology and so much more. I find humanities one of my most profound areas to study and teach.
I want to be able to make my tutees as comfortable as possible during sessions and to have fun whilst learning. It is important to balance fun and work to be able to learn to the best of your abilities. I want to be able to boost your confidence in the subject area that I will be assisting you on and expand your knowledge. Making sure your full potential is being shown is one of my utmost important reasons why I want to tutor.
I am able to guide individuals with their work, learn new content and teach them techniques in order to retain the information learnt and make it fun for the tutees. Past papers, reciting, and different learning activities are some of the many techniques being used.
My Experience
I have work experience being a teaching assistant at a primary school in Bournemouth and I have tutored individuals privately in the past. I have taught in groups and in one-to-one sessions. I am able to teach pupils from KS1 to A-Levels.
My Qualifications
I am currently at Bournemouth University doing a Politics degree. I have done A-Level History, A-Level Sociology, and A-Level Government & Politics. I have GCSEs in English Literature & Language, Italian, Drama, Maths, History, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Religion & Philosophy.
My Availability
I am a full-time student, which means I will be able to teach around after-school/evening times. I am rather flexible on the weekends.
