She's a star

We hired Johanna to come in the evenings and help through the night and she made the transition from one child to two so much easier. Johanna supported our family for the first two weeks after the birth of our second child, who joined a 2.5-year-old at home. She was such a help and so lovely that we had her back several times when my husband was away for the week in America. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

She brings real hospital and birth centre experience, and that shows. She was pivotal in helping me navigate the move from one child to two, and gave me great tips on breastfeeding my second, which was quite different from my first. She also shared her expert knowledge of baby massage, which led to some lovely bonding time.

She was brilliant with our older daughter too, making sure she felt included rather than pushed aside by the new arrival. When bedtimes were difficult and my toddler wouldn’t settle, Johanna helped us through them, and she got us through the baby's witching hour as well. I honestly couldn’t have managed without her.

The nights were where she made the biggest difference. She was calm, kind and never intrusive, and being able to hand over so I could rest and recover made everything easier.

We now count Johanna as a friend, and I’d book her again in a heartbeat.
