Hi, I’m Georgia!
I’m 25 years old and based in Selsey. I currently work two days as beauty therapy after a career change, but my career passion has always been in childcare.
From 2020–2023, I studied Early Childhood Education & Care at Brighton University, gaining my degree and valuable hands-on experience through nursery placements, university/college placements, and babysitting for a wonderful family in Brighton. Alongside this, I have worked in nurseries & school settings and I’ve cared for children for many different families over the last 5 years and loved being part of their growth and development.
I currently babysit consistently a few times a week (for 3 different families) but have weekend space available for parents to enjoy evening out! I also do weekly cleans to keep the space spotless for some of these families if needed. I do pick up a lot of last minute babysitting jobs due to my flexibility so please just message me and I’ll try to help!
My long-term career goal is to specialise in working with children with SEND, particularly autism, and my experiences so far have inspired me to pursue that goal.

? My Relevant Experience
Nursery Practitioner (1+ year) – worked across all age groups, but especially loved the baby/toddler room, where I enjoyed encouraging children as they began to explore, play, and take an interest in the world around them.
University Placements – completed placements in two nurseries, which gave me a broad range of experience in early years care and learning.
Special Needs School Placement – supported children with SEND, which confirmed my passion for working with children with autism and shaped my future career path.
Play Assistant at a Children’s Play Centre – fast-paced, fun, and full of energy! I especially loved hosting birthday parties and creating memorable experiences for the children.
Babysitting – regularly cared for children of family and friends, and more recently babysat for a lovely family in Brighton while studying at university. As of 2026, I currently care for children in 2 separate families and can work with children of all ages.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
Normally £12.50 an hour for daytimes/evenings & overnight can be discussed if ever needed - I am negotiable - normally my rate would be less whilst child is sleeping
