About Me

Hi! I'm Sarah, I'm a CIW registered childminder based in the Heath, Cardiff. I have 12 years experience as a nurse previous to becoming a childminder, I have also run various children activities classes over the last few years. I offer a warm, loving and caring 'home away from home' setting with an emphasise on child-led play/activities.
I live with my husband Andy, our three children and our cat. have a spacious house with a large, enclosed garden. I enjoy getting the children out and about in the community and regularly visit toddler groups, parks, soft plays and libraries.

I am available for full days, 8-5, Monday-Thursday and I offer wrap around to Ton-Yr Ywen Primary School and Nursery.

My Experience

I have worked as a childminder since November 2022 and love it. Pre children, I was a dual-qualified nurse for 12 years.
I was then a stay at home Mum for five years with my three children.

Children's Care, Play, Learning and Develpment Practice (Unit 326 and Unit 327) - Level 3
First Aid - Level Three
DBS Checked
Degree in Adult Nursing
Diploma of Higher Education in Mental Health Nursing
Food Hygiene
