About Me
Hi, I’m Naomi. I’m based in Chesterfield and hold a degree in Education, Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Mental Health. I’ve always loved working with children, and over the years it’s become one of the most rewarding parts of my life. That passion inspired me to study Education and build a career helping children and young people learn and thrive.
One of my favourite parts of babysitting is getting to know each child’s unique personality. I love seeing children grow in confidence, discover new interests and simply enjoy being children. Whether we’re getting creative with arts and crafts, playing games, spending time outdoors or winding down with a bedtime story, I always aim to create a calm, happy environment where every child feels safe, comfortable and happy—and excited to tell you all about the fun they’ve had when you get home!
I understand that inviting someone into your home to care for your children is a big decision, so I always do my best to provide dependable, patient care while respecting your family’s routines and preferences. Above all, I want your children to have a lovely time, and for you to feel completely at ease knowing they’re in safe hands.
My Experience
Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children in a range of settings, including regular babysitting, homeschooling support, and as a team leader at a residential children’s camp.
These experiences have allowed me to work with children of different ages, personalities and needs. They’ve taught me the importance of being patient, adaptable and encouraging, and I enjoy tailoring activities to each child’s interests—whether that’s imaginative play, crafts, reading, baking, outdoor adventures, helping with homework or simply spending quality time together.
Alongside my practical experience, my degree in Education, Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Mental Health has given me a strong understanding of child development, learning and supporting children with a wide range of needs. It has helped me develop a thoughtful, inclusive approach, allowing me to care for each child as an individual.

• Weekend childcare

I’m happy to discuss both regular and occasional childcare, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your family’s needs where possible.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Hourly Rate:
Daytime babysitting - £11 per hour
Evening babysitting - £10 per hour.
- Additional Services: If you require extra services such as tutoring or assistance with homework, we can discuss the rates and availability for these services.
Please note that my rates may vary depending on the number of children and any special needs your family may have. I am committed to working closely with you to create a care plan that suits your family's needs and budget.

Naomi has been our children's nanny for the past few weeks. Collected our children from school and walked them home. Then made sure they had afternoon snacks, did their homework with them and played games with them. Our 7 year old loved being able to play board games every night so was very happy.
Naomi would be great to look after any children and would be a credit. Very happily recommend her services.

Naomi looked after our autistic son over the summer holidays. He really enjoyed his days with her. Naomi is kind, caring and fun.
