My Requirements

£15/hour - Experience/understanding of autism is essential, as my daughter can be difficult. She bonds well with other neurodivergent people.

Hours can be flexible on a Monday maybe 10am to 1pm

Looking for a calm, friendly carer/mentor who can use a low demand method. Basically to take the approach of being my daughter's friend, on an even level, not an authoritative carer. Please check out the PDA website for more info on her condition. My daughter can at times shout when she is disregulated and will say things like "shut up", "get out" and "idiot", so I need someone who can ignore this and realise it's part of her condition. Being able to play Roblox/gaming would be a big advantage! (As long as you don't mind paying the game she chooses in the way that she wants you to!) Would suit someone with experience working in a children's home or who has knowledge (or willingness to learn) of PDA and autism. She likes people who are softer speaking and who can follow her lead. A big part of her condition is that she needs to feel in control to feel safe. She will only want to do or talk about things that interest her.
