My Summary

My Experience

Most recently, for the last 3.5 years, I have been a nanny for a family with four children (aged 0-9). Often having sole care, providing all aspects of care. I have also travelled abroad with the family.

Prior to being a nanny, I spent two years working as a room lead/key person at an outstanding private nursery on a farm, working mainly with 3-4year olds. I planned for children’s progress and led a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities. This experience was very much outdoors based and therefore I am confident in safely caring for children in outdoor environments. I have worked with children with SEN, particularly ASD.
I have a level 3 diploma for the early years workforce (early years educator).

I am a qualified preschool swimming teacher having trained with and worked for a baby swimming company. I taught groups of children age 0-5 to swim and taught their parents/careers how to aid them. I also gave 1:1 lessons for children with SEN.
I have an up to date certificate in paediatric first aid.

I have three daughters (now age 18, 16 and 13).

Having previously begun a Primary PGCE (which I chose not to complete) I worked in a year 1 class as a student teacher and have volunteered throughout the primary years. I previously have had a number of voluntary roles including as a Rainbows leader for 5 years, planning activities for children age 5-7.

With a passion for working with young children, my experiences have allowed me to develop positive, engaging communication skills. I am enthusiastic when leading them in activities and get so much enjoyment from witnessing young children learning and developing.

Swim England - Level 3 Teaching Preschool Swimming (advanced)

I am available as an ad hoc nanny. I can be quite flexible with my availability.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
