About Me
Hello! My name is Ashaye and I have been working with children for over 7 years full time. Working with children has been a huge passion of mine for years. Shay’s Little Stars is a childminding setting filled with Positivity! Care! Education! and fun for all children. We often go on many days outs accompanied by my verified childminding assistant.
I am registered by Ofsted and Early Years as a childminder. I am here to provide a tailored service for you and your child, and ensure that they are secure and safe at all times. I am located on Green Lane, I have a good sized home with a garden and a dedicated nursery room.
Schools and local amenities are very close by including parks, soft play and libraries.

My Experience
Prior to shays little stars, I first Worked in a nursery for 4 years and have been a childminder for 7 years working with children with disabilities and SEND and also babies under 3month. I take pride in the work that I do and the environment that I keep.
I have food hygiene rating of 5 and take pride in providing healthy, tasty and tailored meals for who is required.

Shay has been a brilliant supporter and very flexible she doesn’t put any pressure to make payment quickly. I will always pay her and not miss a payment as I am very trustworthy 😄 I just love the flexibility that she provides. I can just literally call her up and she’ll be ready for childminding sessions with my son. He loves it there! He loves her and he is always excited to go there. Never a moment where he will say he doesn’t want to go he even prefers to go to Shays, then going to a nursery setting. Shay takes him to the soft play and he loves it there. My son is 3 years old and she has been looking after him since 2yrs old.

My son has been with Shay for a year and six months now.
He was well settled and that was my biggest worry as he has never been left with anyone prior to her.
Shay made him feel comfortable and confident, taught him new things, allowed him to make new friends and has been an amazing influence on him.

My daughter has been going to Shay’s for almost a year now and loves it. She has made friends and gets excited in the morning to go.
We love how flexible Shay is with our schedule she is very accommodating and caring.

My 3 year old twins loved coming to Shay. It was their first time being away from me and they settled so well. Shay takes care to ensure they settle well, and took time to understand the twins individually. They were always kept busy, and I could as their confidence as the weeks went by. They have a speech delay and possible selective mutism, but this didn't stop them from having the best time, with structured and free play. They would always look forward to 'Shay Days' as we called it. Shay is such a natural, and her experience shows.

My daughter has been going to Shay since she was 20 months old. She has such a wonderful time there, playing with other children and doing fun activities, and would go every day if she had her way. It is a beautifully resourced setting. She has now been joined by her baby sister, who loves it just as much.
