About Me

We’re looking for a nanny to join our family in our beautiful big home in Forest Gate 2 days a week - Monday and either Wednesday or Thursday from 9:30 - 4pm. You will be looking after our daughter who is 4. We also have a 6 year old son who is home educated and has a tutor with him each day.

We’re looking for someone that can be with us long term and build a deep relationship with our family. Our little girl is smart, creative and loves drawing, painting, singing and dancing, playing with her dolls and jumping on the trampoline. She is learning reading, writing and maths so we'd love someone that can contribute to her learning and do educational activities with her.

She doesn’t want to be out and about everyday and enjoys the comfort of home some days. She needs a very patient, gentle approach because she is very sensitive and it might take a while for her to build up trust with her new nanny. My husband and I both work from home so we can be around to support the transition.

Our kids like a lot of autonomy so we give them lots of choice about what they do each day, what they eat, what they wear etc. We’re a low demand, child-centred household and we don’t have strict rules or routines, just a loose rhythm to the day. We would love someone who has a similar approach and is comfortable being child-led.

Most of all we want someone that is fun and creative with lots of energy! Someone who is young at heart and willing to get on the floor and play, build, act like a dinosaur and run around the house with nerf guns. We have a big house and garden so there’s plenty of space to play.
