About Me
My family and I live a very active lifestyle. My husband and I have a 13 months old daughter and a 3 year old German Shepherd. We enjoy fun activities and keeping busy. We’re both invested in our jobs but want to be able to make enough time for the family life which is why we do a lot together outside the working hours. From long dog walks to swimming, play areas to visiting friends and family every other day.
My Requirements
We want our little one to be able to play and explore the world with other little friends. We strongly believe socialisation is important for children all ages. At home, Annelise is learning two languages, my mother tongue Romanian but also her father’s mother tongue, English. She’ll probably find it a little more difficult to start talking at first but we want a lot of encouragement and support for her with communication. She’s inquisitive and impatient and gets angry easily when things don’t go her way. She will need to be encouraged to be patient and develop and understanding that she can’t always get what she wants easily. She needs to work for things. This comes in time and we understand this is a process but discipline is an important factor in this.

The best decision we have ever made regarding childcare was enrolling our daughter in Nic’s setting. Nic was more than a childminder, she was like a second family to our little girl. She truly helped me and my husband in shaping Annelise into the wonderful little lady she is today. She genuinely cares and has the best interests of the kids at heart which is what every parent wants when they choose to trust someone with their child. We are forever grateful for all that you have done for us! Hopefully baby number 2 can also join your setting.
