My Experience

I have been a teaching assistant for 3 years at a local primary school, where I am responsible for many things including following and carrying out
safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting any concerns to the relevant people. I carry out small group activities, with guidance from teachers and teach multiple phonics lessons a day. I support a group of children with high needs, so work closely with the teachers and the SENDCO to follow corrects plans and help come up with constructive solutions to help the children have the best quality of care. I
support a child with a physical disability, so have experience doing personal care and doing manual handling. This also includes working very closely with parents and other professionals as well as recording data in the right way. Previously I worked at a local nursery and with a childminder as part of my qualification. So have lots of experience working with children of all age ranges.

My Qualifications

I have got English, Maths and Science GCSEs and a level 2 BETC in Health and Social Care from John of Gaunt Secondary School. A also have level 3 BETC in Child’s Play, Learning and Development from Wiltshire College.

My Availability

Friday evening and weekends.
