Lovely, fun nurturing setting for littlies

My little one spent 2.5 years at Wishcroft, starting when he was just 8 months old and growing into a chatty, confident 3 year old with care from Sallyann and her team of assistants. He really enjoyed his time there and particularly liked the many trips out (especially to the Transport Museum which is one of his favourites) and spending time outside including in the allotment, helping to grow dinner! For me, the great thing about Wishcroft was the focus on younger children (unlike many childminders) and the way it bridged the gap between a childminder and nursery/daycare. There were enough other children of a similar age for my son to interact and practice building relationships with but in a smaller, more family-like environment. I also appreciated how flexible Sallyann was about welcoming my nursery-age daughter during the school holidays and integrating her quickly into the setting. There are lots of practical benefits on Wish croft, for example, Sallyann makes lots of effort to ensure that the children are well fed with a range of home cooked meals and her and the team were also helpful partners when it came to potty training! I would highly recommend Wishcroft to anyone looking for a small, caring setting for their child.
