My name is Scarlett, and I have several years of experience working with children. I am a qualified Psychologist with experience in Educational Psychology, and I am currently completing my CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
I run a childminding setting in Hanwell called "Hello Mundo", together with my co-childminder, Yoli. We both absolutely love what we do and work very well together, with great communication and a strong relationship with the families we work with.
I’m passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and creating a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment for them to grow. I consider myself a very patient and creative person.
Spanish is my first language, and I also speak Italian fluently.
My Experience
I am a passionate childminder with over 6 years of experience in childcare. I hold Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding certifications and work in line with the EYFS framework, creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for every child.
I have a degree in Psychology, and my experience in educational psychology inspired my love for working with children and supporting their development. I particularly enjoy watching children grow in confidence and independence as I guide their learning through play and meaningful experiences.
Spanish is my first language, and I also speak Italian, allowing me to bring a diverse and enriching perspective to my setting.
My Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health's Psychology with internship experience in Educational Psychology.
- Emergency First Aid for adults, children and infants (Paediatric first aid).
- Safeguarding children level 3 - Designated Officer
- Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering Level 2
My Availability
I run a childminding setting, so I’m available to work there from Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm.
For babysitting, I’m available at weekends, on bank holidays, or on weekdays after 6pm. There is a minimum booking of 2 hours, and babysitting can take place either at the child’s home or at mine. As I run a childminding setting, I have a variety of resources and activities available to keep little ones entertained.
I work with advance bookings, so please get in touch to arrange a date in advance.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
- 16£ per hour
- For regular babysitting I will charge you additionally 3£/h per each additional child.
- For one-off babysitting I will charge you additionally 5£/h per each additional child.

Scarlett was warm, friendly, communicative, organised and fun. Our daughter developed so much whilst in Scarlett's care. It was the best start we could have asked for as our daughters first childcare setting.

Scarlett is such a warm, lovely, and reassuring person to have in a child's life. She has been our son's primary caregiver for 1.5 years, and he adores her completely—so much so that whenever Scarlett dresses him or changes his diaper, he refuses to let anyone take those clothes off later! Her background as a psychologist is simply invaluable when dealing with toddler developmental milestones and everyday challenges. The communication and cooperation with us as parents have always been fantastic, especially during tricky moments. We feel so lucky and happy to have found this place. Highly recommended!

I genuinely love what I do, so it means so much when the children and their parents can feel that through my actions.
I had no idea about the clothes hahaha! It honestly made me laugh, but I also found it really sweet.
Caring for, teaching and guiding Leo has been such a lovely journey, and I really appreciate the teamwork we’ve had so far in supporting his wellbeing and development.
My son has been attending Scarlett childminding setting for nearly two years. From the outset I felt comfortable with the environment, ethos and professionalism they had to offer. I love that I can check in on my son's activities while I'm at work and get a taste of his day via their app. Scarlett has been very helpful with each developmental milestone and they are supportive of my approaches to parenting, we work together to give my son the village he needs to grow into a kind, respectful human. They feed him nutritious food and have engaging activities including outdoor exercises and a Spanish learning environment. Can't recommend Scarlett enough. Thank you for all you do!
