About Me
I am a dedicated and supportive tutor with previous tutoring experience and experience teaching Year 6 pupils. I have a strong understanding of the academic skills and preparation required for the 11+ entrance examinations.
I aim to build each child’s confidence, strengthen their subject knowledge and help them reach their full potential. My approach is tailored to each pupil’s individual needs, learning style and ability, ensuring lessons are engaging, structured and effective.
My Experience
I can support pupils with key areas of the 11+ examination, including English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, focusing on developing strong foundations, problem-solving skills, exam techniques and time management.
Having taught Year 6, I understand the importance of preparing children for the transition to secondary school and helping them manage the demands of entrance examinations. I create a positive and encouraging learning environment where pupils feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and making progress at their own pace.
My Qualifications
* 2:1 in physical education and school sport
* Level 2 childcare
* Basic first aid training
* Safe guarding training
* PGCE and QTS
