About Me
I am an OFSTED-registered childminder and I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is watching children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and reach important milestones. I also enjoy building positive relationships with families, working in partnership to support each child’s individual needs and development.
I believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and real-life experiences. I love taking children on outings and adventures, giving them opportunities to explore the world around them, discover new places, and create lasting memories. Whether we’re visiting parks, libraries, local attractions, or enjoying nature walks, every trip is planned to encourage curiosity, learning, and fun.
At home, I create a variety of engaging activities tailored to each child’s age, interests, and stage of development. From creative arts and crafts, sensory play, and messy play to early literacy, numeracy, and outdoor learning, I aim to provide enriching experiences that inspire confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
My goal is to offer a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment where children feel happy, secure, and excited to learn every day. I am committed to helping every child reach their full potential while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are receiving the highest standard of care.
My Experience
I have over 13 years of experience working with children and families. I have been an OFSTED-registered childminder for over five years, providing high-quality care in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Prior to childminding, I worked as a nurse in maternity, caring for mothers and newborn babies. My experience has given me a strong understanding of children’s early development and the importance of supporting families. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive through engaging activities, meaningful experiences, and a caring, home-from-home environment.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees are a fixed rate, but if there are siblings attending the setting a discount will be added

Emma has been an incredible childminder and I highly recommend her to any parent looking for a passionate and truly amazing childminder! My son has been with Emma since a baby and is now 10 years old.
Emma is kind, patient and nurturing and has always created a safe and loving environment for my son to feel happy and valued. She has played such a key role in my son’s development, teaching him good manners, respect and kindness from a very young age.
Emma shows genuine care and love for all the children in her care and I will always be grateful for the support Emma has provided my son and our family.

I highly recommend Emma as a childminder! She has cared for both of my daughters from the age of 10 months, and the care, support, and dedication she has shown them has been outstanding.
My eldest will be starting Reception, and my youngest, now two, have thrived in her care. Emma provides a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to learn through fun and engaging activities.
She is kind, patient, reliable, and keeps us well informed with excellent communication, giving us complete peace of mind. Most importantly, both of my daughters value her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dedicated childminder.
