I have a passion for helping others and like to be creative in the things I do and the way I express myself. I like to be someone people can rely on, and believe that in successful appointment of a new role I will be able to bring a wealth of knowledge as well as my experience, understanding and creative flare for problem solving.
My Experience
I have previously worked in daycare/childcare in Austria, supporting children of ages 1-3 years and 3-10 years. This was a role where I would organise fun activities and games to play and do pick-up and drop-off at ski lessons.
Most recent experience has been working at Priors Court. This is a private residential school for young people with complex autism as well as other diagnoses (ADHD, Bipolar, eating disorders, epilepsy, developmental delays, etc.). I work with supporting a waking day curriculum, organising and facilitating activities/arts and crafts, as well as assisting at school and off-site trips. Here I was also responsible for monitoring the various challenging behaviours that arose in my case load. I would then ensure the strategies in place are effective and help to adapt them to ensure they stayed that way. I also received various training such as Epilepsy Awareness, First Aid, Safe Use of Medicines, Positive Behaviour Support Awareness among others.

BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design - 2:2
Level 3 diploma in Residential Childcare
Currently studying - Masters in Psychology (conversion course)
Recently complete Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification
My Availability
I have committed to Thursday evenings volunteering with GirlGuiding. This is where I help to run a Rainbows group.
