About Me
Hi there! Welcome to Little Big Dreamers Home Nursery! My name is Zaynah and I'm a registered childminder who occasionally works alongside my partner, who is also my registered childminding assistant. With previous experience working with children and my degree in Psychology, our setting has a lot to offer. Working with children is incredibly rewarding and at Little Big Dreamers, we always strive to support the children in our care, to learn and grow with confidence.
Little Big Dreamers is open all year round, Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. All children will be provided with the 1:1 care and attention they need. We're a short walk away from large parks and green spaces as well as a library. The children in our nursery enjoy their play room, filled with educational material and of course lots of toys, craft materials and books, with a little area for reading and relaxing. The sleep room is separate and is set up to be a lovely cosy and quiet space, with blackout curtains to ensure a good rest. I live in a house with my Mother and an elderly cat! We have a large private garden that has plenty of activities, including a messy tray, a play house, a kitchen, a water play station, a swing and trikes. We also have a cat run, so we can watch the cats while we're playing in the garden.
We provide a balanced mix of educational and fun activities that engage and challenge children, as well as support development in the EYFS learning areas. We also plan regular visits to local parks.
Little Big Dreamers home nursery is a warm and friendly environment, where children will feel at home. I know the importance of working in partnership with families, so parents and caregivers will always be in the loop.
My Experience
I have worked with children from the ages of 1 to 11 years old professionally for over 5 years. This includes working in nurseries and primary schools, where I also worked as an activity assistant, doing clubs and holiday camps. I did informal babysitting for 4 years. I have a degree in psychology which included, developmental psychology and learning and social psychology. In my personal life, I have had heaps of experience looking after young children. Growing up in a big family, I have been surrounded by babies, toddlers and children from a young age, giving me a natural understanding of their needs and behaviours. All of this has taught me invaluable lessons about child development, nurturing, and the importance of fostering a safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive.

Zaynah is the best childminder I could have for my son. She is the most calm and patient person I ever met, she is very supportive and helpful.
I never worry when my son is with her, she keeps me updated all the time.
They do lots of activities together, crafts, painting, going to the park, farm, soft play.
I can only say how grateful I am for finding her.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Zaynah. My son started going to Zaynah’s nursery full time when he was one, he took his first steps with her at the nursery. I felt comfortable and confident about leaving my child with Zaynah because she would take good care of him and involve him in numerous activities throughout. Everything would be uploaded on the Tiney app in a timely manner so I could see when he ate, what he ate and what activities he did. Zaynah was able to build a routine with my little one quickly and also introduced him to new textures. I would recommend her to everyone.

Little Big Dreamers is a fantastic nursery! My husband and I have been reluctant to use any childminders but took our daughter to one out of necessity. We couldn't have chosen a better nursery! The space was beautifully decorated and equipped with wonderful toys, books and furniture. The childminder, Zaynah, was patient, playful and attentive with our daughter (who has become quite comfortable with her).

Zaynah is very calm and pleasing hence my boy loved her. She keeps on updating me every time my boy is with her so I don't have to worry much about him.

I am updated about my child’s activities on the app on a regular basis which made me concentrate more on my job knowing my baby is in good hands and I didn’t have to worry much. I could tell me baby had a lovely day when I go to pick her up. Zaynah and her assistant Liam is good at what they do.

My baby is 9 month old and has been going to Zaynah’s nursery. Her space is baby friendly and my baby tends to get along with her. She was kind enough to keep him whenever I would attend interviews. Initially, I was really worried if my baby would settle in with her but everything went well and my baby enjoys being there. She also updates his routine on the app on a timely basis which gives me an idea of how my baby’s day went. Would recommend this place to everyone.
