Don't be swayed by her high rating. This childminder doesn't treat all kids the same in her setting, and your child may likely undergo emotional changes after being in her care. Regarding safeguarding, I want to share my experience with you: this childminder doesn't even have basic first aid supplies, like a thermometer, in her settings. She's sent kids back home, citing excuses like your child is not well and feeling warm to touch. However, she is not having a thermometer to confirm a child's temperature. This lack of preparedness can be concerning for parents entrusting their children's well-being to her care.

Thank you for your feedback, we will not go into detail of the incident, however as your child was contagious; under safeguarding rules and the protection for other children we are not allowed to keep children in our setting until they are fit and well. We did have the necessary equipment as we are not allowed under Ofsted rules to run a setting without a first aid kit including a thermometer. Please note for other child care providers this is a non payment parent so please beware! We run a successful childcare setting and have had no other issues with other parents. Due to non payment and disrespectful behaviour we had to terminate the contract, as you breached the rules of payment.
