My Summary

My Experience

Since a young age, I have worked as a babysitter for family members. In addition, from the age of 16, I worked as an intern in intensive summer theatre workshops with children from the ages of 6 years old to 16 years old. This has taught me to be aware of different ranges of ages and the interests of different children. By working closely with the Theatre field, my colleagues and I have developed strategies to inspire these kids to be creative and use their imagination, while harvesting their confidence and social skills. Over that, we faced them with concepts that stimulated their critical thinking and encouraged them to share their ideas and their own perception and opinions, while analysing different texts by different authors of different periods. My theatre journey has also contributed deeply to me in the same way, so I hope to be able to mirror that to whoever I come across in my life. Acting has raised in me a sense of empathy and it helps me understand the world and the people around me a bit better each day. In addition, moving to the United Kingdom by myself at the age of 16 introduced me to a new key feature of willingness to fix problems calmly and it made me come across people of all different kinds.
