About Me

?We are a friendly family based in Killay, Swansea (Rhys, Becca, and our son Felix). Felix is a happy, smiley, and affectionate little boy who loves a laugh, but he does require high levels of care and constant 1-to-1 supervision to keep him safe and engaged.

?As parents, we are looking to build a relationship with a reliable, caring professional who can help support us on weekends, giving Felix some dedicated 1-to-1 fun and giving us a bit of respite

My Requirements

Babysitter
Live Out Nanny
Special Needs Experience

?We are looking for an experienced Babysitter or Nanny for weekend daytime support (Mornings/Afternoons on Saturdays and/or Sundays).

?About Felix & His Needs:

?Diagnosis: Felix has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay (GDD). ?Communication: He is currently non-verbal, so someone who is patient, intuitive, and ideally experienced with alternative communication or reading non-verbal cues is a massive plus.
Personal Care: He is not toilet trained and is still in nappies, so full assistance with personal care/changing is required. ?Supervision: He has high needs and requires 1-to-1, constant supervision to ensure his safety.

?This is a respite role based primarily at our home in Killay. Felix enjoys familiar environments, but he does sometimes like short trips out to the local park once he is comfortable and familiar with someone. We are looking for someone active and engaging who is happy to play at home, manage his routine, and potentially handle local drop-offs or short outings as confidence grows.

?Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs), ASD, or GDD is highly preferred. Whether you are a regular nanny looking for extra weekend hours, an SEN teaching assistant, or a support worker, we would love to hear from you. Fully enhanced DBS and references are essential
