Little Rainbows Childcare
Hello everyone. My name is Anita and I am a newly registered Childminder on the Ise Lodge estate in Kettering. I live with my husband Jason and two girls, Lucy who is 21 and an Ambulance Care Assistant and Zoe who is 17. I also have an older son Ben who is 23 and works in finance. He no longer lives at home.
We have 2 dogs - a Labrador called Ruby and a Sprokerpoo called Albus. We also have a cat called Badger.
I have recently finished 25 years of teaching in local Primary Schools and am now excited about my new adventure. My Rainbow Room has lots of interesting resources for the children to investigate and I also have an accessible garden for them to explore. We will also take regular walks and trips to the nearby parks and outdoor environments.
My Experience
I have taught in 2 local Primary Schools for 25 years and the last 16 years of this time was in Early Years as the Early Years Lead. So I am very experienced in supporting children to meet their full potential and encouraging them to learn through a play led curriculum.
My Qualifications
BEd with honours in Primary Education
Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Safeguarding Children - renewed annually
Teaching and Learning in the Early Years (Pedagogy)

My Availability
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Can offer school pick ups and drop offs to Millbrook Infant and Junior School.
