My Summary

My Experience

My experience differs massively across different age ranges, school types and educational provisions. I have worked in a preschool for over a year, I have experience in care work of vulnerable people alongside babysitting. At the preschool I was a key holder, I held responsibilities above my post and most importantly I was valued by the children- always being their go to adult and always being their first port of call for support and comfort. As part of my responsibilities I planned age appropriate activities that aided their education and development, created a solid rapport with the parents and practised core skills like communication and coordination. Additionally I have forest school experience and have helped drive a session through even the toughest of weather elements.
More recently I have worked in a playgroup where I have enhanced many children’s experiences with my bespoke outlook on life- giving them a voice and embracing their individuality. Often changing myself from superheroes to singing as if I were Elsa and just understanding their core needs (even if that means hopping around as if I were a frog).
Most recently I work in a primary school just outside of Shepton Mallet as a TA- in this role I work with 6-8 year olds however I also run the afterschool provision alongside this. My job ranges massively from day to day however regardless I am incentivised by a child’s success and drive in their own education.

My Qualifications

In terms of qualifications I have a level 3 early years diploma, I am DBS checked, I have paediatric first aid training, I am safeguarding trained as well as core understanding of speech and language, importance of play, and the fundamental values of the EYFS. Outside of childcare, I also have 10 GCSEs (including maths, English and the sciences) and 1 BTEC as well as 3 A levels (health and social care, psychology and religion and philosophy).
In more recent months I am working to obtain my special educational needs qualification, working towards understanding how I can enable equality and creating a fair and thriving environment.

My Availability

I am available all day Monday to Friday but am also flexible for occasional weekends or overnights.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour

Babysitting and Nannying at £11 per hour.
Fees are negotiable.
