Ola/hello - Parents/Carers! A warm welcome to ‘'Little Wise Kids''. Let me introduce myself – my name is Aby an Ofsted Registered Childminder, a mum and wife. I am located in BS2 / Cabot Circus with easy access to town and M32.
Little Wise Kids is a magical oasis of tranquillity for children. I provide safe, naturing and loving home from home experience for children. My aim has always been to create a childminding environment that I would want my own children to attend. A lovely, homely environment; almost an extended family, where children can flourish, develop and gain confidence through quality adult-facilitated play, theme based and free-flowing activities that combines educational, joyous sensory and stimulating activities.
As a member of the National Trust / Forestry England, SS Great Britain, the Aquarium etc we tend to spend a lot of time outdoor exploring the nature, learning and creating memories.
Being a multi-lingual, I aim to support children of all ages with foreign language development. My curriculum is carefully designed to enable every child to recognise and cultivate their own talents. I combine the traditional EYFS Learning with modern languages and cultures. I do this by incorporating Portuguese and Spanish into the curriculum through play and fun activities. Unless specified - at least one daily activity will be delivered in Portuguese or Spanish.
I strongly believe that the quality and variety of what children see, hear and participate in is crucial for developing their understanding, self-expression, vocabulary and ability to communicate better as they develop. The frequency, repetition and depth of their experiences are fundamental to their progress in interpreting and appreciating the world around them, facilitating individual growth and development.
I am flexible and extremely dedicated to helping children flourish and gain confidence through play by amalgamating fine/gross motor activities in a calm and nurturing environment. My main goal is to make each parent’s life easier and find working with children very rewarding.
Both myself and my husband are enhanced DBS Checked.
PS. 8-hours minimum a day with flexible starting and finishing time.
Currently yet to accept Bristol City Council 15-30Hours Free Childcare (check beforehand)
My Experience
As a mother and a childminder, I will look after your child as if s/he was my own – with love and tenderness. I have experience looking after babies and toddlers.
Having recently transitioned from a corporate environment, where I held various senior roles and most recently as a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager of a Public Transport in West of England; before retraining to be an Early Years Foundation Childminder. I aim to support little ones flourish and gain confidence through play by amalgamating fine/gross motor activities in a calm and nurturing environment.
Looking after the wellbeing of others has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I have always had an interest in working with children, young adults and their parents. Having spent 11 years working in the Higher Education sector, supporting young people during their first year at University, I am extremely passionate about teaching and seeing children’s progression. It has always been a personal passion to help people reach their maximum potential.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
The above referenced charges exclude food, drink and snack - although food can be provided at cost of £2 daily fee (one hot meal, snack, cold meal, snack) - water and milk is always available throughout the day. If your child has any dietary requirements or allergies please ensure to inform me in advance so that all necessary precautions can be implemented in timely manner.
Daily menu will be uploaded on our social media platform (or sent directly to you).

Aby is an wonderful childminder, when I drop my son off he’s always very happy and I know he’s in a good hands! She’s also very positive, reliable, communicative and got lots of bright ideas to play with babies/kids! Her setting is very calm with lots of educational toys! She has also supported my baby to achieve his milestones from crawling to walking! Could not recommend her enough! Thanks Aby x
