About Me
I’m Ella, I’m 23 and I began my childcare experience as a childminding assistant/ apprentice. I achieved my NVQ level 3 in childcare and after 3 1/2 years of being an assistant childminder I then became an ofsted registered childminder, working alongside my employer. I did this for nearly a year before my employer opened a nursery and offered me a deputy manager position as well as being room leader for our preschool room. Which I have been doing for a year now. I absolutely love working in childcare, I am very passionate about my job, providing children with the best experiences whether that is through planned activities at home or trips out.My long term goal is to be a nanny, focusing on one family and working closely alongside the parents. I love to travel, so would be more than happy to accompany my nanny family on trips. I love animals, especially dogs. I’m primarily looking for a nanny based role but I am happy to get involved with any housekeeping duties. I am a huge family person and look forward to finding the perfect nanny family.
My Experience
I was childminding for 4 years and have been a deputy manager at a private nursery for a year. I am also the room leader for our preschool room. I manage the day to day routines and staff. We provide wrap around care so I have experience caring for children 3 months- 11 years old. I have a full paediatric first aid training, level 2 safeguarding training, level 2 food hygiene and I have Hygge accreditation. I have also completed additional training to further develop my CPD. I work closely alongside our local council, other professional including s+l therapist. I have experience working with children with SEN. I have an excellent relationship with all of my staff and work in partnership with my parents. I have dealt with both ofsted and environmental health and other professionals. I am currently a mentor for 4 of our apprentices and work closely with them, helping them achieve their qualifications.
My Qualifications
I am level 3 qualified as an early years practitioner, I have received first aid training, safeguard training and my food hygiene. An accreditation in hygge. I am continuously keeping up to date with the changes in the EYFS and attend/ complete other training to further develop my knowledge. Including safe sleep training, manual handling, challenging behaviour and training in five to thrive.
My Availability
I am looking for a full time, permanent nanny position. Monday to Friday, but am also available if the family only need 4 days of care. I am happy to get involved in an housekeeping responsibilities. I am available for both live in or live out depending on the location.

- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (net)
