About Me
Hi my name is Lucy, I've just registered with childcare. I am currently in the process of completing my paediatric first aid and enhanced DBS to become an Ofsted verified nanny. My mother was a childminder so I've been helping to look after her childminding children for the majority of my life. I also do babysitting occasionally and am happy to be a one of babysitter. I am more experienced with young children and toddlers and always stride to engage them in enjoyable activities which also keep them learning. I absolutely love science and have passed my A-levels in Chemistry, Biology and Geography so whenever I can I always try to explain how the world works to younger kids. I will never yell at a child or tell them off, they are still learning, therefore whenever behaviour needs correcting I'll explain to them why they can't do something. My Experience
My mother has been a childminder for 10 years and during that time I would always help out. I take my 7 year old cousin on days out just the two of us a couple of times a month and I babysit in the evening for a 12 year old during the holiday seasons.
My Qualifications
10 GCSEs grade 5-8
A-level Chemistry, Biology and Geography grade C-B
My Availability
I am available any time during the week for nanying. I can babysit any evening.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.25 per hour
- Nannying from £12.25 per hour (net)
We charge £2 extra for tutoring as we have been through the new curriculum so we will have an understanding of what your child is learning.
