Welcome to SallyDayCare. Our nanny/ childminding business aims to provide exceptional childcare for children aged 3months to 11years.
We believe in providing children with a stimulating environment that encourages them to explore and develop new skills through play. We provide extra curriculum activities such as visiting children’s centres; to help children develop their social and emotional skills, Ray park, Elmhurst park for our physical development, Toddler group sessions at Woodford Evangelical church, Woodford library for their communication and language as well as messy play both child and adult led.
I also have outdoor space equipped with a swing, to further encourage children to explore their surroundings. We believe in incorporating children’s interest with their learning. OFSTED REGISTERED
My Experience
I have over 5 years experience working with children. I have worked in both private and government funded nurseries as a deputy manager as well as a room leader. I also have Montessori, First aid and SEN training. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Studies and DBS checked.

Salma is amazingly caring, patient and her full dedication to helping my daughter’s mental and physical development through educational play is really impressive. She is very reliable, punctual, friendly, well organised and easy to communicate with. Her energetic mindset and endless positivity with a genuine smile are remarkable. She has been looking after my daughter since she was ten months old and has become a part of our family in the last eight months so I really cannot think of anyone else who could better look after a child of this early age.
After my maternity leave ended and I returned to work, I had all sorts of worries about leaving my only child alone for a whole day with someone who is not a relative, especially since I had had many disappointing experiences with other nannies before. After meeting Salma, I knew she was very special. Her approach is not just to keep my daughter alive until I get home but to make sure that she is looked after from many aspects: they have lots of fun and laughs during regular developmental games while Salma provides her a safe and most importantly loving environment. She also makes sure that they spend time outside, either getting in touch with nature in the fresh air of a local park or visiting a toddler class nearby, so my little one’s social skills are also improving by playing with other children.

Salma has been taking care of my 6 year old SEN child for over a year, she has been a very reliable and trustworthy nanny for my child. Salma has encouraged my boy to explore his surroundings, she takes him to the park, and any additional classes that encourages him to engage with other children. She’s extremely reliable and always has a smile on her face. Her interaction with my boy has allowed him to feel included and independent around others. An extremely loving young lady.
