About Me
Hello, I'm Suzanne, I grew up in a small town in Scotland in a loving, fun and supportive family. I am the eldest of 4 girls, two sets of twins in fact, so looking out for those younger than me has always been part of my life.
I relocated to London at the end of May 2022 with my sister I am a kind, creative and compassionate person who truly enjoys working with children. Being there to help them grow, develop and see them become their own unique little person is such a rewarding and amazing experience. I have had the privilege of being a Nanny since January 2023 after spending years learning and developing professionally in nursery environments. I have met wonderful families, working with them to deliver the best care for their kids and family as a whole.
Outside of work I enjoy exploring new places, visiting museums/galleries, going to music festivals and concerts (where possible) and enjoying a nice quiet day reading or catching up on new films/tv.
My Experience
I completed my Early Years Childhood Practice diploma (level 3) in May 2022 while working in a couple of nusery's, I have worked in early years for 2 years, both prior and during my studies. I have worked predominantly with children aged 0-5 professionally, but have also volunteered at spaces and events for children of all ages. I have experience in creating daily activities and educational provocations for early years, as well as changing nappies, toilet training, providing healthy snacks, meals and daily cleaning duties. Working in early years is an extremely rewarding experience and I would love to now bring that to a family. I am also experienced in working with children with special educational needs and are passionate about supporting all children.
My Qualifications
I have an HND in Childhood Practice (equivalent level 3 in England) which makes me fully qualified to care for and be an early years teacher for 0-5 years. I have experience working with children with additional support needs also, I am first aid trained and forest kindergarten trained. Forest kindergarten is all about learning in nature and how to make the most out of outdoor spaces in education and something I enjoy very much.
My Availability
I am available to work full time, part time or flexible shifts with the right family.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
I am open to discuss fees with the family.
