About Me

My name is Liz and I have lived in Irby for the past 20 years with my husband and 3 older children.
I have worked in early years for over 30 years, since I was 17. I am honest, reliable, caring and full of fun, creative ideas to help your children learn through their play. I have left my position in a nursery to set up my own childminding business in my home, Little Liz's Childminding.

My Experience

I have over 30 years experience in childcare, and over the years I have worked in Private Day Nurseries, a pre-school, as a nanny for the same family for 7 years, and childminder.

My Qualifications

I have a Level 2 childcare qualification and all necessary childminding qualifications including Paediatric First Aid training, Food Safety and Safeguarding Level 3.

My Ofsted Inspections

The inspection grades below have been obtained from the Ofsted website based upon the registration number the childminder has provided to us. You should verify this information yourself prior to using the childminder.

Ofsted Good Provider Logo
Good
11 March 2025
Engaging activities and community outings form the core of this early years provision. Children arrive confidently, demonstrating secure attachments. A language-rich environment promotes learning through songs, stories, and conversations. While play-based experiences reflect children's interests, the curriculum design could benefit from more structured activities to build on individual learning needs. The childminder is encouraged to expand on ideas and introduce more complex vocabulary to deepen learning.
