Hello parent's!
I'm an experience nanny that is located in Blackheath, South London. I've worked with children from 0 - 11 years for over ten years including babysitting, pre-school teaching and most recently a nanny for a 3 and 8 year old girl and boy. I'm patience, firm but caring and I take a deep understanding of the development of children at different ages - I really enjoy working with children and being able to be a part of their development and help teach them life skills. I am comfortable with babies too, as I’ve had experience with an 8month old before - ensuring that they get the best start to life with stimulation, lots of learning through play, adhering to existing routine and preparation of nutritious snacks and meals.
I'm of mixed descendant but English is my only language, I enjoy cooking and take pride in being healthy and active. As a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors and creativity/art with kids. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling and enriched environment - I am an enthusiastic and responsible person and look forward to meeting you and your child/ren!
My Experience
I've previously worked with the local social care sector with children and young people between 5 - 12 yr old for seven years and most recently been a nanny for three years. I have some experience with younger years (0-3) weaning, adhering to the EYFS.
My Qualifications
I'm currently working with an agency so have a full DBS as well as first aid training. I've worked professionally in a youth provision with children under 8 for several years so this included on going training such as child protection and safeguarding.
My Availability
My current role is coming to an end as the family is moving, ideally looking for a position/s I can do around classes that I’ll be putting on. Please get in touch for availability, times and hours are helpful :)
