My Summary

My Experience

I have been working within child care since the age of 16 whether it was as a placement student during the time I was doing my level 2 where my main responsibility was to create a safe environment for the children and encourage them to explore the surroundings. I then went and did an apprenticeship for my level 3 child care qualification. Where I was a second teaching assistant in a school nursery class where my main responsibility was to support the teacher in the classroom and provide a stimulating environment for the children to learn in and make sure it is safe and hygienically friendly for them to be in. After that I have worked in 5 nurserys

The first one I worked for 2 years where I was responsible for
I maked sure that all children in my care are safe and enjoy there time at nursery.
I had a group of key children which I have to observe there development and fill in the appropriate paperwork work that came with that.
I would also do parents evenings create that parent parentship in there childs development
I will attend staff meetings and under take any training required of me.
I have also worked very closely with child with SEN needs.
To help in the maintaining a high hygiene level with in the nursery e.g washing dishes,wiping surfaces, brushing floors etc.
I would do hand overs to parents at the door and let children in
I also had a little bit of experience as a room leader while I was in the toddler room as when the room leader was on holiday, sick or work in the office I was the member of staff whom was in charge and the list goes on

The second nursery where I started working in October 2022 and work here for about 18 months. I was a room leader where I have the exact same responsibility as my previous job but I also have to have to ensure the staff within my room are producing high level childcare practice for the children in the room. Along side as ensuring good practice from my staff i was expented to ensure the room was safe for the childen and clean.

I then went to do the following job of room lead in 3 more nurserys where I have had the same responsibility.

I am also im the process of get my L3 forest school Leader certificate.

I have always worked with children ages between 1- 4. And among all of that I have done some babysitting of younger children within my family for other family members.

My Qualifications

My childcare qualification is level 3 in early years childcare and I passed in 2019

My Availability

I am currently working a nursery as room leader and would have to hand my notice in if I had the between 8:00 - 4:00. On weekends I am completely free able to work what ever times and needed of me. Except for sunday morning till April 2026.
