My Requirements
**Nanny\-Housekeeper – Monday to Thursday**
We are a friendly family looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive Nanny\-Housekeeper to join us on a long term basis, caring for our two children aged 4 and 7and helping to keep our family home running smoothly
**Hours: approximately 12pm–7pm, Monday to Thursday**
**Total: approximately 28 hours per week
**Location:Blackheath/Greenwich area
**Start date:Flexible for the right person
The role will be a combination of housekeeping during the earlier part of the day and childcare from school pick\-up onwards.
**Housekeeping responsibilities will include:**
- General cleaning and tidying of the house
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Putting clothes and belongings away
- Keeping the kitchen tidy and managing the dishwasher
- Organising cupboards, children’s bedrooms and play areas
- Keeping on top of household supplies
- Occasional errands and general household organisation
- Preparing simple meals
We will retain a separate cleaner for the heavier/deeper cleaning of the kitchen and bathrooms.
**Childcare responsibilities will include:**
- School/nursery pick-ups
- Caring for our 4- and 7 year -old after school
- Preparing and serving their dinner
- Helping with homework and reading
- Supervising play and activities
- Bath time and helping them get ready for bed
- Preparing school bags, uniforms and other items for the following day
- Keeping children’s bedrooms, clothes and belongings organised
We are looking for someone who is warm and confident with children but who also genuinely enjoys the housekeeping side of the role. The ideal person will be organised, energetic, reliable and able to use their initiative rather than needing to be given a list of tasks each day.
Previous nanny/housekeeping experience and excellent references are important. We are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted and long term part of our family’s routine.
**Salary:** Competitive, depending on experience\.
