My Experience

I have several years of experience working with children and young people in residential care, including my current role as a Team Leader. My experience includes safeguarding, supporting emotional wellbeing, building positive relationships, planning activities, supporting routines and promoting independence. I have also worked closely with social workers, families and other professionals. I am confident supporting children of different ages and understand the importance of keeping children safe while making sure they enjoy their time with me.

My Qualifications

I have a BA (Hons) Professional Policing degree and a Level 3 National Diploma in Health and Social Care. I also hold Level 2 training in Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP), First Aid training and an enhanced Children’s DBS. I have completed extensive training relating to children’s residential care, safeguarding and supporting children’s emotional wellbeing. I also hold a full UK driving licence.

My Availability

I work a 2 days on, 4 days off rota, so I have good availability around my main job. I am particularly available for evening, weekend and occasional childcare and can be flexible depending on the family’s needs. I am happy to discuss specific dates and times in advance.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My standard rate is £15 per hour. I am happy to discuss rates depending on the hours, number of children and requirements. I am also happy to discuss regular bookings or occasional babysitting.
