About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Lisa and I am a Childminder based in Pannal Ash, Harrogate. I recently relocated from London, where I spent the last five years running a successful childminding service, following more than 12 years working as a nanny for high-profile families.

My background has always been rooted in education. I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience working in schools and nurseries, supporting children of all ages. As part of my degree, I gained in-depth knowledge of child development, learning styles, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which continues to shape my practice today.

I am a mum to two young girls, aged four years and 18 months, which further enriches my understanding of early childhood and the importance of providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment.

I am passionate about child-led play and outdoor learning, believing children learn best through exploration, curiosity, and meaningful experiences. I place a strong emphasis on supporting each child as an individual, helping them to build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

I hold a range of relevant training, including Forest Education, Paediatric First Aid, Safe Sleep, Food Hygiene, and ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standards of care.
