Hello, thank you in advance for taking the time to have a look at our page.
Here’s a little bit about us and our situation:

We are looking for a nanny from September to help with our children after school. As we are only looking for help on a couple of days per week, we are teaming up with our neighbours over the road who also have two boys of similar ages to ours - 6 & 4 years old who will be in Year 2 and Reception from September 2026.

Therefore, in total between the two families, we are looking for help from 2:30pm - 7:30pm Monday to Thursday. Monday & Tuesday will be with one family and then Wednesday & Thursday will be with the other family.

It’s worth noting that in our house we also have a very well trained 11yr old black Labrador. Therefore, you will need to also be comfortable with dogs.

All the children attend the same local primary school which is a 10 minute walk from our house.

What we are looking for is:

A responsible and reliable nanny, who will become an integral part of the family and to help support us due to our work commitments in London.
All the children are bright and love taking part in activities and learning. We feel that the after school clubs are great to a point but that our children tend to just sit around watching TV and being fed not very nutritious food until we are able to pick them up at 6pm - which always tends to be a bit of a rush to get back from London in time for.

Therefore, we are looking for someone to pick up the boys from school and bring them home, helping with any homework, arts & crafts, development play, take them to the park etc, whilst also ensuring they eat healthy, nutritious meals before we come home from work.

Due to busy work / life balance, some help around the house with a few light chores would be fantastic - such as emptying a dishwasher, turning some washing over should it need doing etc. Whilst the priority will always be to look after, entertain and help feed the the children. A bit light housework and help to get school bags ready etc will help no end.
