About Me
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic medical student with a genuine passion for helping students build confidence in their learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, catching up on missed work, preparing for exams or simply becoming more confident.
I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or pressured. I particularly enjoy breaking complicated topics down into simple, manageable steps and helping students understand the reasoning behind an answer rather than simply memorising it.
I tutor Maths, Science and French and am available to support students from primary level through to GCSE.
My Experience
I have around 5 years of tutoring experience, working with students of different ages, abilities and learning styles. I have experience helping students strengthen their foundations, catch up with schoolwork, prepare for assessments and develop effective study and revision techniques.
As a medical student, I have a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, as well as experience working with complex scientific concepts and explaining them clearly.
My approach is patient and encouraging, with lessons tailored to the student’s current level and goals. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding first, then building knowledge step-by-step so that students become more independent and confident over time.
My Qualifications
Alongside my current medical studies, I previously completed a year of university study in Genetics, during which I studied Algebra, Calculus and Physics to university level. This gave me a particularly strong foundation in the mathematical and scientific subjects I tutor.
I also have a C1 level of French, allowing me to support students with both their written and spoken French. I have around five years of tutoring experience and can provide references upon request.
My Availability
I offer flexible online tutoring and can accommodate both weekday and weekend sessions. I am generally available in the afternoons and evenings during the week, with additional availability at weekends.
I am happy to discuss regular weekly lessons or occasional sessions for exam preparation, revision or specific topics.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
