Hi,
I am a registered childminder.
I have worked as a Deputy Nursery Manager, which I have done for over 5 years. I have over 18+ years of experience working with children.
I have always had a passion for working with children through the administering of their learning and development.
I come from a large family and grew up around a lot of children. Growing up, I was always referred to as a motherly figure, the one who always made sure that the younger children were ok.
I believe that this has stayed with me through to my adult life, as I am very caring and attentive to children's needs. I am a mother to 5 amazing children, and I am also the Sunday school teacher at church.
Everyone always asks me why do I choose to work with children having so many of my own, but as I've stated earlier working with children is a passion of mine, their happiness and their wellbeing is part of my life's ethos.

I would request that you make an inquiry and see if I'm able to fulfill what times, says you may be looking for. As sometimes it off the hours I've stated, I may still be available.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
Overnight will be a different charge per hour. Weekends may differ also depending on the time.

We couldn't be more grateful to have found Delane and highly recommended her to anyone looking for a friendly, loving but professional family setting.
Delane makes sure the needs of all the children are met, taking them out to the park, play sessions and or having sensory fun at home. Our son is always happy to be dropped off and he gives Delane the biggest cuddles when we pick him up.

We couldn't be happier with Delane and I can't emphasise enough how much we'd recommend her services!
Delane currently looks after our 6 month year old and does a fantastic job.
The setting is great, the Comms are always clear (with lots of nice updates through the day), our son loves being there, and it's clear he has a stimulating and enjoyable time whilst there.

Delane has been looking after my 10 year old daughter since September 2025 after her previous childminder retired. My daughter loves attending and regularly asks me when she's going next because she enjoys being around the other children in attendance and enjoys the activities that they do. My daughter loves the food that Delane provides and Delane has always catered to her dietary requirements. My daughter only has positive things to say about Delane. The setting is always clean and Delane is welcoming. When I asked my daughter what she personally wanted to add to this review she said "she's good with kids and understands feelings". I have peace of mind when my daughter is with her.
