My Requirements

We're looking for someone lovely to come and help us out, ideally 3 afternoons a week, for around 4 hours each time but we're happy to move things around for the right person.

We have three kids aged 6, 6 and 8. We'd mainly need help with the two younger ones — hanging out at home, playing, crafts, getting outside, making snacks and generally having a nice afternoon together. We're not looking for anything overly formal; we just want someone the kids click with and genuinely enjoy spending time with.

We don't have family around or much of a support network nearby, so we'd really love to find someone who can become part of our little village and give us a bit of breathing space around work and family life. Someone who understands the reality of juggling work with three children who all have very different personalities and levels of need would be a huge bonus!

The boys can be anxious and take a little while to warm up to new people, so a calm, patient and easy-going personality is really important. Experience with neurodivergent children would be great, but it's much more about finding the right person than ticking boxes.

We're hoping to find someone who feels like a really good fit for our family and who we can build a long-term relationship with.
