About Me
We are a Nerospicy family looking for primarily an after school nanny but open to more support during the holidays/ weekends. We're pretty flexible with days/hours as I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so any amount of support is very much appreciated.
My son is currently 6 years old. He attends Ferndale Primary School in Great Barr and will be starting year 2 in September. He is in the process of being assessed for Autism and ADHD, and also has ARFID (Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder), so understanding and patience is what we're truly looking for. He is verbal and full of love.
Me and my son are both AuDHD ( autism+ ADHD mix) so looking for someone who either has experience or is open minded and willing to understand us whilst helping us. We're not like the stereotypical AuDHDs you see on TV- so feel free to ask questions for a better understanding on what to expect. Someone that can grow into a friend or an extension of our little family. We may need more reminders and help organizing more than other families but we also provide more fun, excitement and laughs too due to our uniquely wired brains. If you love r&b, video games and random unprompted competitions then you'll be a great fit for us.
Because I claim Universal Credit, I can only claim back childcare costs if my nanny is officially registered. Which means anyone who I hire will have to be either already registered with Ofsted or through an Ofsted-registered childminder agency. Or willing to go through the registration process before starting with us please.
My Requirements
I would prefer someone who owns a car but if they don't, someone in walking distance from his school would be fine. I would also prefer someone with SEND experience, or at least someone open minded and willing to learn- especially learn about ARFID. Someone who is Registered as I claim UC
