Part-Time Family Assistant / Nanny

We are looking for a calm, reliable Family Assistant / Nanny to support our household with one school-age child.

This role suits someone who values routine, discretion, and a steady presence, and who is comfortable supporting a household quietly and professionally.

Hours
• Wednesdays: after school 5:00pm until 7:00pm
• Every other Sunday: 11:30am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities
• Prepare and share a simple evening meal
• Support calm, table-based activities (homework, drawing, crafts)
• Be present during scheduled calls
• Make brief, factual notes following calls for parent reference
• Light household support (kitchen tidy, light cleaning, meal prep)
• Support a smooth transition into the evening routine

The right person will be
• Calm, emotionally steady, and reliable
• Comfortable being present without taking over
• Discreet and respectful of family privacy
• Experienced with school-age children
• Organised and confident with routine household tasks

A gentle, low-drama approach is essential. Calm presence is more important than high energy.

Rate
• £18–£20 per hour, depending on experience

Employment
• PAYE employment through my business

Previous nanny, family assistant, or childcare experience preferred.
References required.
