My Requirements

** Part-time/after school nanny required from beginning of April 2026 **

Hello! We have just moved to Ampfield and are looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to pick up our 2 children from one of the local infant schools and local nursery.

As 2 busy NHS doctors, my husband and I struggle to do the pick ups for our children on the days that we both work (Wed/Thurs/Fri). We would love to find someone who we can build an excellent relationship with over a long term period, as well as someone our children can get to know and trust too.

Our children are used to long days and can stay in after school club/a longer day at nursery until 6pm if needed. We are looking for someone who can pick them up from school/nursery (we can be somewhat flexible with the time) and bring them home (both locations of school and nursery would be 5-6 mins away from our house). We can work with you to see what would work best for you. If you would find it easier to pick them up earlier and bring them home and keep them entertained until we get home, then that would be perfectly fine too. We probably won't get home before 7pm at the earliest. We can agree a fixed hourly rate and a minimum requirement per day ( wrap around care in the afternoons, 3 days a week). If we get home early you would still be paid for the full allotted time. The children may require a light tea/snack.

We can provide car seats and of course would cover your travel.

This would be a great role for someone who is looking for additional income, perhaps outside of your normal hours. Rates are negotiable. Please note that we are looking for a long term commitment rather than ad hoc weeks...
